Scenario 3a — THE ANTI-PATTERN: bare replace of a covered behavioral rule
Same setup as 3b, WITHOUT the everyday verb. The owner uses context-rewritten for a routine style change — twice. @70 creates the rule via a rewrite: it happens to read fine today, but that position is now a REWRITE TARGET, not history. @80 replaces it in place: click @84 and read the request as the model will — the rule at @70's old position now demands British English and proper capitalisation, and the visible history right below shows the assistant cheerfully violating it. To the model this looks like ITS OWN sustained non-compliance. Best case it silently complies going forward; worst case it apologises for behavior that was correct at the time, or learns that the standing instructions are decorative. And the ✂ line jumps UP to the rewritten position — every byte from there down is a cache miss. DO NOT DO THIS — update (scenario 3b) avoids both problems by construction.
